Hair and Make-up

Well thursday I had the joy of practicing an updo and make-up for a gorgeous bride whom will be getting married on the 21st.  So we decided to have a trial run and today I will be also doing her hair and make-up for her bridal portraits!  I can’t wait because we just did some practice on thursday and she already looked gorgeous, so I can’t wait to see the final touches today and again next weekend :)! Visit the Venues Day

Well on Sunday I went out and visited some of the venues in the area where events can be held.  The day started out great and ended great with a little snow on the ground :)!  I first started my day by visiting Bridal Creek Ranch out near Sperry, Ok…the view is incredible, then I went to the Tulsa Jazz Hall in down town Tulsa which was interesting to me because I’ve never had a chance to visit this location, then I stopped at the Dresser Mansion which was beautiful, then I made my next stop at Loughbridge chapel and reception hall and the view from this location was gorgeous, then my next stop was to Skelly Lodge in Catoosa, Ok and this also had an amazing view…it even had gorgeous huge rocks with pergola’s as decor in front of them, and my last stop was also in Catoosa at Vesica Piscis Chapel and this location was a great little chapel with an attached reception hall sits out on a hill near the Hard Rock Casino.  I loved getting to meet all the wonderful people in charge and getting to learn more about their locations.  If you have any questions call or send an email to etchedintimeevents@gmail.com

Baby Showers

Can I just say I had my fair share of baby showers over the past year, but I must say I have enjoyed every minute of it.  It looks like it is that time again…I love baby showers the games we get to play, the decorations we get to put on the centers of the tables and all the precious baby gifts the mother to be receives :).  If anyone needs ideas or has a shower to plan give me a call!

New Year Under Way

Well the new year is under way and i hope it has been treating you all well! Mine so far has been great and im loving the 4 days we are into in the new year! I cant wait to see whats in store for the next months ahead! Christmas and New Year

Hey everyone, just wanted to say I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas with all your friends and family!  I had a fantastic time in Victoria, Tx with my family….playing xbox kinecet and the wii.  I got some great gifts and new items to do some decorating!  I enjoyed getting to help my mom bake in the kitchen and prepare a vegetable tray, that I must say looked quite delicious :).  My moms house was beautiful and we put the last final decorating touches on some wreaths after I arrived.  I must say the smallest bow being tied on top of a platter just makes things look so cute :).  I now just want to with you a Happy New Year and may you all be blessed in this new year to come.  If you have any events you are planning just let me know and we will work something out and get your event planned.  Have a great week!

Christmas

Gourmet Popcorn

So how many of us out there loves to eat popcorn…I know I do!!!  I have a good friend of mine whom is now selling Gourmet Popcorn and I must say I just love it!  I visited the Tulsa Wedding Merchants Group on Tuesday and my friend whom sells the popcorn was with me so we mentioned her popcorn and guess what one of the girls mentioned how the new thing to do at a wedding instead of a candy bar is have a Popcorn bar so if anyone is interested let me know!  Hope you all are having a fantastic week and Christmas is right around the corner….YaY!!!

Hot chocolate, a fire, and cold outside

I’m sitting here working on business stuff and loving getting to have a fire burning in the fireplace, hot chocolate in my cup and its freezing outside…this is my favorite time of the year.  How many of you also love this time of the year?  The only bad thing is I can’t just stay cooped up in the house all day long :). The Holidays

Well Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is right around the corner.  I hope that you all had a fantastic thanksgiving holiday with your friends and family.  My holiday was great!  I’m sure you all are busy out doing your christmas shopping and getting ready for the new year, but just remember if you need my wedding or event services just send me an email and we will work something out.  I can work quickly and efficiently.  I will be going to Texas for christmas, but that doesn’t mean we can’t work up until then and communicate through phone calls and email.  I will be praying for everyone that you have blessed holidays and happy shopping!
